Almost a year ago I started this campaign for my 22’nd birthday, aiming to to have a meaningful impact on the people’s life around me and provide clean water for those who don’t have it.
This morning I woke up with this e-mail.
Mali is a landlocked country with vast deserts and a long dry-season where many people lack access to clean water and sanitation. It’s one of the poorest countries in the world and has both a high risk of infectious disease and the world’s eighth highest infant mortality rate, at 77.6 deaths per 1000 live births.
For families in Mali, the first step out of poverty begins with clean water.
Thanks to you, our partner organization, World Vision, Inc., is busy working on 126 projects. When those projects are complete, we’ll collect GPS coordinates, photos, and other details about each community to show you the impact you’ve made in Mali.
I jumped for joy when reading the update and said it’s nice to share it with you. I am looking forward for the project to ending and visiting the place.
Already started to think what to make for this 23’rd anniversary. I think I found it.
Thank you! This made my day! Will keep you posted.
